Wondering what we've been doing?

Pastor Nathan pushing Pastor Tim too hard! New Life Church: Robinwood spent the Labor Day weekend at Champoeg State Park. While there we were able to participate in Farmstead Day and experience life as it was in the 1860's. It was fun for all ages.

On Sunday we met outdoors, which also reminded us of "earlier times". "You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands." Isa. 55:12 NIV The trees clapped with us as we worshipped the Creator in His Creation. Our outdoor service was followed by a "good old fashion barbecue".

"Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne." Psalms 47:5-8 NIV

It was good to be outdoors singing and praising God. The weather was nice and the rain didn't show up. Sharing communion outside as the launch team had special meaning.
The picnic and fellowship afterwards was great! And the bees even stayed away!
